About Training

This module introduces students to the world of work, regulations, laws and social norms that regulate the employer-employee relation, as well as the challenges they face. Consequently, the module aims to provide an overview of the core issues and challenges within the world of work, professional objectives and ways to address them. Furthermore, the module presents a range of theoretical perspectives on work, behavior and professional ethics.

Training objectives

All candidates who successfully complete this training will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a systematic and critical understanding of key concepts, laws, regulations, issues and debates related to the topic of the world of work.
  • Recognize and understand the legal acts and legislative frameworks that regulate the labor market. For example, the legal framework for registering businesses, the procedures to be followed, the types of businesses, etc.
  • Describe the main aspects of professional conduct and ethics and its implementation.
  • Critically analyze specific issues around the labor market by referring to lessons related to laws, regulations, bylaws, and codes of ethics and morality.
  • Develop their knowledge in research, necessary to complete the tasks required by this module.

Learning methodology

To ensure effective learning of training materials, the following working methodologies are applied:

  • Theory
  • Demonstration
  • Discussion

The training is taught through presentation in the training room or virtually through the ZOOM platform, where the trainer and assistant explain the module. Candidates are provided the module material and are given space for discussion.

  • Upper secondary school teachers
  • Upper secondary school students
  • Career Center Coordinators

Training Duration

This training program consists of 12 hours which are conducted over two days.

Certification

Candidates have the opportunity to obtain a certificate after successful evaluation in the following criteria:

  • Participation in training
  • Tasks to be completed for certification
